Do you provide the Alcohol?
No. Liquor laws prevent us from providing the alcohol for your event. All liquor and beer must be provided and purchased by the host.
How do I reserve my event date with Shakers Mobile Bartending Services?
A $75 dollar non-refundable retainer deposit is required at the time of the contract signing. Your deposit will be applied to your final balance. The $75 retainer deposit may be paid via PayPal, venmo, zelle, check, or cash. Amount of deposit could change based on contract.
How will the bartenders be dressed?
Our typical attire is black dress pants and black dress shirt. We can discuss the way in which our bartenders will be dressed according to the type of event you are having.
Who is responsible for making sure that the guests do not have too much to drink?
Our bartenders are trained in alcohol awareness by bars they have or are currently working in. However, the host of the event is ultimately responsible for all invited guests and their actions. Shakers reserves the right to refuse service to any guest(s) who seem to have had too much to drink, per our judgment. There are companies in which you can purchase individual event insurance. Shakers Mobile Bartending Service and their bartenders do not offer insurance; and when signing a contract with us you waive the right to any future lawsuits against Shakers, the owners, and employees.
Is gratuity included in your fees?
Tips are customary in the bartending business so we offer our customers two options:
1. Allow a tip jar to be placed on the bar for guests.
2. "Hosted Gratuity" There will be no tip jar and the host will pay a $1- $2 per person gratuity fee based on number of quest attending the event.
What type of payment do you accept?
Payment is expected to be received at the beginning of the event unless other arrangements have been made. Types of payment accepted are Cash, Check and Credit Cards. Credit Card payments may be made in advance securely through Paypal and Venmo.
Do I need to make a deposit?
Yes. A non-refundable retaining fee is required to reserve the date and time of your special event.
Can I rent a bar?
Yes for an additional fee of $100 you can rent a portable bar for your event.
